PRESS RELEASE - Charlotte Charnick Wins!

Charlotte Charnick, the Bed-Down Sponsored Rider for 2006, has qualified for the Petplan Area Festival Winter Championships on her gelding Dundeal. The pair qualified at the Patchetts EC, Petplan Competition on the 19th August by coming second in the class with 73.5% and they also won another Prelim Class with 72.08%. Bed-Down would like to congratulate Charlotte and wish her luck at the winter championships.

Robyn Walker, a Bed-Down Sponsored Rider, has qualified for the Pony Club National Championships at Sansaw on her new pony, The Importance of Being Ernest (Ernie). Robyn has only recently started riding the 14.2hh, grey gelding and is already wowing the Dressage judges! Bed-Down would like to congratulate Robyn and wish her luck at the championships.

Dervatiw Gwyddion, a beautiful pure bred Arab Stallion owned by Jean Peck of Paslow Hall Arabians in Suffolk, has qualified for HOYS 2006 in the ridden Arab Stallion Class. Bed-Down will be supplying Gwyd with his bedding over the championship. Bed-Down look forward to hearing how he gets on.

PRESS RELEASE - Rabbit Bed-Down Bedding Misunderstanding

Bed-Down were surprised to read on a Rabbit Breeders Forum that Bed-Down wil be discontinuing Bed-Down Excel. Bed-Down would like to assure all its customers that this is not true. It seems that the misunderstanding is connected with the banning of the use of citronella as a fly repellent under the EU Biocidal Directive in September 2006. Bed-Down are in the process of updating the packaging to comply with the new EU Directive but the product inside will remain unaltered and users will not see any change in the quality of Bed-Down.

PRESS RELEASE - Congratulations to the High Fen Riding Club Dressage Team from Bed-Down

Bed-Down would like to congratulate the High Fen Dressage Team for a set of superb results at the Area 14 Competition at the beginning of May. The Senior Team won their part of the day and so are through to the National Riding Club Championships later in the year. The Novice Team came equal second but due to the way in which the collective points were awarded they will not be going through to the Championships. All the High Fen team members were given Bed-Down vouchers and Bed-Down look forward to supplying them with their free bales very soon, Well Done!

Bed-Down bales at Poplar Park

The weather at Poplar Park BE Event 2006 included snow, hail, rain aswell as a bit of sunshine and even though it was so cold Bed-Down had several visitors to the stand. Bed-Down sponsored Section A, an Intro class and we were delighted that the class was so busy. Sophie Flux handed out the prizes on Saturday afternoon to the winners in Section A and were pleased to give the 10 bale voucher to the winner, Rosemary Coker. Well done to all who competed and we look forward to seeing you next year. Thank you also to the organizers who did a fantastic job. PRESS RELEASE - Sarah Gibson Wins

Congratualtions to Sarah Gibson, our latest Rider in the Rider Profile section, who won the Novice 25Q and the Elementary 41 (restricted) classes at the Affiliated Dressage Day at Earlsway on 11th February 2006. Moyboy gained 1st place with 66.4% in the Novice and Extrem was placed 3rd with 61.6%. In the Elementary Moyboy won emphatically with 66%.

Charlotte Charnick won the Affiliated Dressage Prelim 18 at Earlsway on 11th February 2006 with 67.92%. It was Tallents Quests first outing this year and Bed-Down are delighted that it went so well on such a rain drenched and miserable day!
