At Bed-Down we have always been asked for branded clothing, which got us thinking… How could we create equestrian clothing that delivered the same quality, colourful aspect and substance that our users have come to expect from us?
Having considered the possibilities for a while we decided that we wanted to somewhat push the boundaries and deliver something as unique as we feel the Bed-Down brand is, so we set to work.
The inspiration to create clothing that followed our product ethos of ‘Made to Match Your Horse’ first started with our ambassador programme. Having stages matched to the colours of our bedding products with T-shirts as entrants completed each stage of the programme. This lead us to create a ‘Bed-Down Yard’ range in collaboration with Avalanche Equestrian. Bed-Down Yard allows users to match their bedding colour choice with their clothing, to be fun, practical and functional.
Why did we choose Avalanche Equestrian?
We loved the idea of the Yard Range with its non-stick fabric so bedding and hay would slide straight off. Bed-Down users have rightly come to expect an exceptional level of quality across our bedding range, we believe Avalanche’s clothing sets standards that are in-tune with our own. We all know that frustrating feeling when your filling hay nets and all the hay gets stuck to your cloths, well here’s a solution for that conundrum! As I am sure some already know, the Yard Range was created as I am allergic to Hay so therefore designing a product that stops hay from getting into your clothes is highly important to me.
