From competition horses to retired ponies and every other horse and pony in between there is now a Bed-Down bale to suit all horses and their owners.

A 60 years tradition in innovative premium bedding, new state of the art manufacturing facilities and a boundless passion for animals!

To create something genuinely new, you have to be prepared to ‘start’ again. You could say that we have a long-standing tradition of doing that.

Founded in 1957, Cherry Tree Farm is a family owned business with 60 years of expertise in caring for horses and poultry. We specialise in the production of British premium animal bedding.

We are very proud to be sourcing all our high quality straw and softwood flakes on our doorstep and sustainably.

All our straw is harvested locally, stored undercover and moisture tested before being processed, the bales are then produced at our specialist production facilities on our farm, assuring our customers consistently of the highest quality.

Over the last year we have invested over £4 million in new manufacturing facilities to produce our new ultimate quality bedding across our range, already renowned for being comfortable, highly absorbent, staying fresh and durability with specifications to suit every equine need, and now keep chickens happy too!

Bed-Down is a major rural employer in Harleston – we now employ 11 full-time staff and 4 part-time workers.
